Bangalore, Apr 7: Names of BJP candidates contesting for the assembly elections will be released on April 10, said B S Yadyurappa,former chief minister and BJP leader.
Speaking to media persons in his house on Monday, April 7, he said that, candidates’ list preparation process is under progress and it is at the last stage. Decision will be taken after discussing with the district committees in connection with names of contestants. List will be published in Delhi, he added.
According to the sources, BJP has already prepared its first list of candidates. But the party seniors are waiting for last minute changes and for the approval of high command. BJP had won 79 seats in the last election and 90 % of them will get chance to contest, sources confirmed.
