M'lore: Pro-Kannada Activists Stage Protest against Karunanidhi

Mangalore, Apr 6: Activists of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike staged a protest in front of the DC’s office against Tamil Nadu chief minister Karunanidhi for his provoking statements against the state on Saturday, April 5 evening.



The protestors shouted slogans against Karunanidhi and burned his effigy. Meanwhile, the protestors asked the support of all the local organizations for the success of the state bundh which would be observed on April 10.

Harikrishna Punaroor, former president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Pradeepkumar Kalkura, president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat of DK, Shashidhar Shetty, president of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, activist Hanumanta Kamath and others were present on the occasion.
