Mangalore, Apr 2: Positive response from Muslims is highly essential in order to curb terrorism, opined GA Bava, retired ACP.

He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating Eid Milad programme at Kolur Muhiyuddin Jumma mosque recently.

Madarsas and mosques are established with the sole purpose of preaching spirituality; they are not centers where pupils are taught to become anti-nationals or terrorists, he added.

Terrorism has no religion. Muslim organizations and Muslims must raise their voice against terrorism, suggested noted journalist Rahim Uchil.

GA Bava and Mohammad Hanif, power lifter were felicitated on the occasion.

Shanta R, member of MCC, local leader of BJP Bharathi and industrialist Moiddin Kuloor were present on the occasion.
