Israel: KCS Organizes Kulkulo to Mark Easter Celebrations

Israel, Mar 29: Konkani Catholic Sagatan Israel organised Kulkulo a cultural programme to mark Easter celebration at Tel Aviv Bet Barbar cultural hall Hagana here on Saturday March 28.

Konkani Beats, an Israel troupe organized a musical evening and a skit by Wilson D'Souza Kulshekar and Wilfy Mascarenhas and group. Indian orgin Jews performed a dance on the occasion.

Tel Aviv's Man Hunt 2008 modelling contest was organized in which 10 models from six different countries of Asia participated. Among them Sachin Fernandes bagged the first place.

Fr Anil D'Souza, director of ICYM, Mangalore Diocese who had arrived from Mangalore was given a memento.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of the games which were organized by KCS. 

Fr Anil D'Souza was the chief guest on the occasion and Fr Jayshelan, assistant parish priest. Jaffa Israel presided over the function. Jyothi Lasrado and Vinay Beltangady compered the programme. KCS president Steevan D'Mello welcomed the gathering and Roshan Monteiro proposed the vote of thanks.
