Moodbidri: Two of Family Critically Injured in Ghastly Accident

Moodbidri, Mar 28: Two people were critically wounded when the motorcycle on which they were riding collided with a  jeep at Alangar here on Friday March 28.

The motor cyclist Nagesh Poojary (32) and his daughter Sushmita (3), sustained injuries in the head-on collision of their motor cycle with the jeep belonging to the commercial department. 

The father and daughter were admitted to A J Hospital in Mangalore by some Samaritans who drove them all the way from Alangar to the hospital. 

Sources at the hospital stated that Nagesh is responding well to medication while his daughter Sushmita seems to be struggling for life.

The locals pelted stones on the commercial department jeep for causing such a ghastly accident. 

Moodbidri police have registered the case and initiated a probe against the erring jeep driver of the commercial department.
