Mangalore: ‘Dharma Basic Fuel of Life’ – Dr Veerendra Heggade

Mangalore, Mar 28: Dharma is the basic fuel of human life and a small spark of this fuel can ignite fire said Dharmasthal Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade here on Thursday March 27.

Speaking at the valedictory of Pancha Kalyana Mahotsava of Abbakkadevi Jain Basadi in Ullal he said that the fuel of dharma is essential in our life. It is the basic essence of all the activities. A small spark of this fuel can ignite fire so some times it is dangerous also he said.

Heggade said that Dharma should be safeguarded as an essential fuel as it is the source of inspiration for life which will become a source to guide through happiness and sorrows of life. He urged the people no to ask god for worldly pleasures but to ask for good life with truth and good conduct.

Heggade was conferred Samajarathna award on the occasion. ‘Jaina Dharmada Kiru Ithihasa’ by Abdul Ajeej Haq and ‘Ullalada Aliyada Raniyaru’ by Nirmal Kumar were released.
 
On the occasion state Apex Bank president M N Rajendra Kumar, former MLA U T Khadar, Moordabidri Jain Math’s Bhattaraka Charutheertha Pandithacharyavarya, Ullal town municipal council president U A Ismail, Vilmalamma R Ballal and Ullal BJP president Ravindra Moroli were present.
