Karkala: CAP Cell Felicitates Young Academic Achievers at Miyar

Karkala, Mar 27: Young achievers in the academic field were felicitated by Career Advancement Programme (CAP) Cell after Easter festive Mass at St Dominic’s Church, Miyar here recently.

Renowned Konkani writer Avina Mendonca Miyar who secured three gold medals in BA (journalism) from Mysore University, Jennifer Fernandes, who was awarded PhD from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and Joy Elvis Martis, who secured first rank in MA (English) from Karnataka State Open University were felicitated on the occasion.

Capuchin priest Fr Robin, who celebrated the Eucharist and Fr Ronald Miranda, parish priest of Miyar church were present.

Vinup D’Souza compered the programme.
