Mangalore, Mar 22: Every one should willingly strive hard to transform Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) in to a model city corporation, said Monappa Bhandary, president of district BJP.

He was delivering the inaugural address at a one-day legal awareness camp held at the BJP party office here on Friday March 21.

Now that the BJP has taken charge of MCC, it is the turn of the corporaters of the party to work efficiently to meet the expectations of the electorates. Legal awareness camps may help in the long run to bring in efficiency, Bhandary suggested.

BJP corporaters must give strive to improve infrastructure and basic amenities in the city such as drainage system, water supply as a part of the execution of public works and corporaters may work better if they are aware of the legal nuances, which is the prime concern of the camp, he added.

Ganesh Hosabettu, mayor of MCC, Nagaraj Shetty, former MLA and other BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
