Udupi: Udaya Aqua Mineral Water Bottling Plant Inaugurated

Udupi, Mar 19: Former minister Dr V S Acharya inaugurated Udaya Food and Beverages unit of Aqua packaged drinking water bottling plant, which belongs to Udaya group, the manufacturers of Udaya brand aluminum household utensils, at Kaup on Wednesday March 19.

“The quality products manufactured in the undivided Dakshina Kannada district are in great demand abroad,” said Dr Acharya while conveying his best wishes to Udaya Group for their successful foray into food and beverages segment. 

K K Pai, registrar of Manipal Academy of General Education, presided over the programme.

Muralidhar Kamath, deputy general manager of Corporation Bank, released Aqua packaged drinking water into the market.  

Former MLAs Lalaji R Mendon, U R Sabhapathy, former minister Nagaraj Shetty, Syndicate Bank deputy general manager Sujir Prabhakar, chartered accountant U K Mayya, Kaup gram panchayat president Bhanumathy Kanchan, Arun Kumar Yermal were the chief guests present at the occasion.Udaya Group partners Ramesh Bangera and Keshav Poojary, manager Ramarao Kamath, Jayasheela Bangera, Shashikala Keshav Poojary were also present on the occasion.
