M’lore: AILU to Organize Two-day State-level Camp on Mar 21, 22

Mangalore, Mar 19: All India Lawyers’ Union (AILU) will organize a two-day state-level camp here from March 21 to March 22 at CBOO hall near PVS Kalakunj here, announced T Narayana Poojary, president of reception committee at a press conference here on Wednesday March 19.

The camp will be inaugurated by Vikas Bhattcharya, former Advocate General of Tripura and chaired by S Shankarappa, secretary of AILU and NH Nagamohan Das, High Court judge will be the resource person, he added.

Certain burning issues like judicial accountability, judicial activism, impact of the globalization on the judiciary system will be discussed during the two-day camp, Poojary added.

Resource persons will be the High Court judges, the Supreme Court judges, advocates from Kerala and Karnataka. Around 150 advocates are expected to take part in the camp.

Members of the reception committee were present at the press conference.
