Bantwal, Mar 16:
On the occasion of the 'Palm Sunday' holy celebrations at the Infant Jesus Church here early morning around 7.15 am on March 16, the palm was blessed by Rev Fr Cyril Noronha of the Dominican congregation, on the Holy hill.

And then it was brought to the church in a vast procession. The holy hill is situated at a distance of 3 kms from the church. The parishioners followed the musical band set carrying the palm with sincere devotion and prayer on their lips.

The holy mass was offered by the parish priest Rev Fr Roque D'sa, assistant parish priest Rev Fr Arun Lobo and Rev Fr Cyril. The whole atmosphere here was suffused with religious fervour due to the melodious choir and the enchantment of prayers in praise of the Lord.

Truly the king of kings was devotionally welcomed with utmost sincerely in the hearts of all those present at the congregation.
