Mangalore: Lourdes Central School to Begin 10+2 in Science

Mangalore, Mar 15: City's Lourdes Central School (LCS) is all set to open senior secondary school (10+2) in science stream with physics, chemistry, mathematics and either Biology or Computer Science as options. 

Addressing media persons here on Saturday March 15, Grace Noronha, principal of LCS said that merit is the only criterion to admit students. The cut-off percentage is 75, she added.

The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The course aims at the overall development of students. Here students are guided keeping competitive exams like All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), IIT-JEE, COMED-K, KCET and others. The intake is 30 students per batch, she added.

Joy Rai, vice-principal designate and Henry Mascarenhas, member of the faculty were present at the press conference.
