Mangaluru: Tulu movie ‘Chapter’ released at Jyothi theatre

Mangaluru, Apr 8: Mangaluru: Tulu movie ‘Chapter’, produced under L V Productions banner, was released at Jyothi theatre here on Friday, April 7.

Ajith Kumar Malady, president, Bunts Association, inaugurated the film by lighting a lamp.  Director Mohan Bhatkal, actor Ashtik Shetty, Kishore D Shetty, Aravind Bolar, Bhojraj Vamanjoor Gopinath, Prakash Pandeshwar, Jagannath Bala, mayor Kavitha Sanil and Mangalurean entrepreneur, film producer and philanthropist Frank Fernandes were present among the dignitaries.

The film will also be released at three multiplexes in Mangaluru, and theatres in Puttur, Udupi, Surathkal, Belthangady and Karkala. There are plans of releasing the film in Bengaluru, Theerthahalli and Koppa too.

'Chapter', directed by Mohan Bhatkal, stars Asthik Shetty, Aishwarya Gowda and Sanjana Naidu in the lead, and Ashwini Nakshatra fame Sunil in a negative character. The movie comprises four songs in the film along with an item number composed by Kannada music director Surendranath.

Said to be a complete entertainer, ‘Chapter’ has been shot across Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Udupi, Kundapur and Agumbe. The film, with more than 40,000 viewers for its trailer, broke all records.
