Mangalore, Mar 14: Ashmitha Monteiro, a student of Morning Star English Medium Primary School, Bajpe is taking big strides in volleyball arena with her stupendous achievements.  She had recently represented Karnataka at the National-level volleyball Under-14 tournament held at Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.

These columns had earlier carried the news when she along with four more students from Morning Star school were selected for national-level after emerging victorious at the state-level tournament held at Kollegal.

At the recently-concluded national-level tourney where the state team secured the fourth place, Ashmitha bagged the Best All-rounder Player award for her on-court achievements.  There are likely chances of Ashmitha representing the national team at a tournament slated to be held in Malaysia in the coming days.
