Mangalore, Mar 13: The people of Dakshina Kannada (DK) district are bestowed with unique talents. While some of them become ace music directors, sharp shooters, choreographers, journalists, some others become playwrights and venture into every sphere, said noted Tulu playwright, director Vijay Kumar Kodialbail.

He was addressing the gathering at the ‘Talents Day’ hosted by the Fine arts club of University College, at their premises here on Thursday March 13.

Everyone has one or other talents hidden in him, he needs to channel it for the welfare and good of the society, he opined.

No one should be confined to mere marks and classes in the name of education, instead one's talent should be brought to the fore, Vijay Kumar urged the members of Fine arts and all those who were present on the occasion.

Members of the students' council, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college were present on the occasion.
