M'luru: Advithi Shetty's 'Bengaluru Queens' web series creates ripples on Youtube

Mangaluru, Apr 1: Bengaluru Queens starring Advithi Shetty as Tech Tanu, Sushmitha Gowda as Kirik Karishma, Chaitra Achar as Silent Swathi, was released on Thursday, March 30.

Adhvithi, the belle from Bejai, is an alumnus of St Aloysius College and Manipal Institute of Management and has made a name for herself in Sandalwood.

She is now seen cast in a web-series in Kannada. This is the first time a web-series is seen produced in the language. Not just that, the series is gaining momentum at its inception, trending in the 7th position in Youtube with 61,474 views already.

"The story which has a good mix of the 'modern' and 'traditional' revolves around three best friends who are roommates. The contemporary theme accommodates different personalities and cultures. With an excellent display of tech savvy-ness both in the series and its making, it makes for a comfortable and entertaining watch," said viewer Nikhil.

"The dialogues are crisp and clear. All actors seem to deliver them skilfully. It has a certain element of comedy that beautifully blends with the scenes," said another viewer Coutinho.
 
Directed and produced by Anish, edited by Srikanth, and with music provided by Ajneesh Loknath,  Bengaluru Queens has plans of airing eight episodes so far.

"The date for the release of next episode has not yet been finalised. We are focusing on the quality and want to give the best output to our viewers," said a spirited Advithi.
