Mangalore, Mar 12: Max New York Life Insurance Company has launched health insurance schemes with fixed premiums for a period of 5 years, said A P S Bhalla, south zone vice-president of the company.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, March 11, he said that the company is enjoying best claims management in India. As much as 94 percent of the claims were settled within 15 days and 100 percent of the claims settled within a month. The company is looking forward to bright prospects in the medical insurance field, he informed.

Lifeline series include Medicash, Medicash Plus, Wellness, Wellness Plus and Safety Net. These policies bring long term insurance coverage for hospitalization, surgeries and critical illness. The plans under the Lifeline series not only provide protection against medical expenses related to hospitalization but also provide recuperation benefits, he added. 

The Wellness plans cover a total of 38 critical medical conditions, which no other insurer in India offers in a single plan. Safety Net would assure protection from any losses arising from critical illness, accidents, disability and death, he told.

Max New York Life Insurance Company officers Suresh, Muruga Ganesh and Charles were present at press meet.
