Mangalore, Mar 11:
There can be no lasting peace and security for India and other countries in the region unless Tibet becomes independent and resumes its role as a neutral buffer, declared members of the regional Tibetan youth congress here on Monday March 10.

They were shouting slogans at the peace march held here to free Tibet from the clutches of the Chinese government. They also shouted ‘Save Tibet, stop genocide in Tibet’ respect and obey international laws, and many more slogans.

The demands of Tibetans were written on the placards, as well as on the yellow shirts worn by the Tibetan nationals residing in the city, all of whom were demanding freedom for Tibetans.

At the peace march, they demanded the aggressors to put an end to the atrocities they have been committing on the Tibetans for a long time, along with other demands such as complete independence for Tibet. They also urged to put an end to the violation of basic human rights and cultural genocide in Tibet.
