M'lore: 'Kalyanostava' of Lord Srinivasa Kalyana Organized

Mangalore, Mar 11:
The 35th auspicious 'Kalyanostava', an installation ceremony of the idol of Srinivasa Kalyana (God Tirupathi Timmappa) was organized with the support of disciples on a grand scale by the Guru Raghavendra Math trust, at its premises in Nelikayi road here on Monday March 10.

The idol of the much-venerated Sri Guru Raghavendra Swami was installed amidst great devotion, singing of bhajans and prayers. The deity was decorated with a special ‘kavacha’ and a variety of abhisheka, navakalasha and arthi marked the occasion.  

Nearly 200 people from all walks of life participated in the various religious ceremonies and rituals performed on the occasion and made offerings of fruits and flowers as a mark of veneration. The doors of the premises were kept open till late to ensure 'darshan' for even the last devotees.
