Mangaluru: Yamunakka touches 100-day milestone

Mangaluru, March 18: 'Pilibail Yamunakka' which has reached the corners of Tulunadu with its punching comedy and has successfully completed a 'not-out century'.

The film directed by Sooraj Shetty, produced by Rohan Shetty and co-produced by Harish Rao and Sandesh Raj Bangera had hit the screens all over the coast on December 9 and has completed 100 days on Saturday, March 18.

The film which is recorded as a hit among 13 films released last year, has been running four shows in Prabhath theater, Mangaluru. It was also a hit in multiplex theatres too. It had entertained the audience with unique songs and comedy from the comedy giants of Tulunadu.

One-crore mark

The film that was released in 12 single theatres and four multiplexes had a box office collection of Rs fifty lac in its first week and was on the road to profit. Its collection of one crore in two weeks is a record in Tulu films. The film has made history by its initial shows of four to five shows in multiplexes and nine to ten shows later.
