Mangalore, Mar 5: The prestigious annual Rotaract Vandana Award will be conferred on former Supreme Court judge and current Lokayukta justice N Santhosh Hegde in appreciation of his yeomen service to society and his lifetime contributions and achievements in the legal field, stated a press release.
The decision has been taken by the Rotaract club of the city in association with Shree Devi Education Trust. The award will be presented by state medical education director Dr Ramananda Shetty during the annual day celebrations of the Shree Devi Group of Colleges at the T M A Pai International Convention Centre here on Saturday March 8.
The award consists of a citation and memento. Prof Dr Shantharam Shetty vice-chairman of Nitte Education Trust will be the guest of honour, stated the release.
