Mangalore, Mar 1: A huge water spring was found at Pumpwell circle on Saturday, March 1 afternoon which drew the attention of the passers by.

The water spring was created there owing to the damage to a water supply pipe. Some labourers were digging a trench on that spot which resulted in the damage to the pipe passing under it.

Water flooded out heavily from the damaged pipe and even splashed over the national highway. Many persons gathered here and started commenting about the trench diggers who frequently damage such pipes  while working.

Immediately, the labourers tried to reduce the force of the spring by placing big stones on it but in vain.
