M'lore: Dimple Jennifer Fernandes Secures First Rank in MA (Hindi)

Mangalore, Feb 26: Dimple Jennifer Fernandes, an alumna of St Aloysius College has secured first rank in MA (Hindi) examinations conducted by Kuvempu University, for the year 2006-07.

She was presented with two gold medals for her achievement during the eighteenth convocation held at the University premises on Saturday February 23.

At present, she is serving as lecturer in St Aloysius Pre-University College. She is the daughter of Valerian and Laveena Fernandes and grand daughter of well-known Konkani writer Gladys Rego.

    Congratulations.Hope our Mangaloreans will prove themselves in all areas.Hope some more people will come forward to achieve in Kannada as well so that we can see some Catholic names in Kannada news papers as well.
