Moodbidri: Photographer Jaya Poojary Killed in Accident

Moodbidri, Feb 26: Jaya Poojary (23), son of Dombayya Poojary of Kallabettu and owner of Chaitanya Studio here was killed after being knocked down by a speeding bus at Aliyoor on Monday February 25.

Jaya Poojary had sustained serious injuries when a private bus had rammed into his mobike at Aliyoor on Sunday February 24.  Following this, he had been admitted to a private hospital in Mangalore where he breathed his last on Monday. 

He was on his way to click photos at a wedding ceremony at Kinnigoli when the accident occurred. Prior to this he had been for another wedding order at Uliyoor. Moodbidri Photographers' Association has condoled his death.  All studios in Moodbidri were shut down on Monday in respect of Jaya Poojary.

    I was shocked to hear this news. A sudden demise of Jaya Poojary is a heavy loss to Photograpic industry as I know is father Dombayya Poojary in person. My deep sympathis and I pray to Almighty for Late Jaya's soul to rest in peace.
