Bantwal: Infant Jesus Church Observes Catechism Day

Bantwal, Feb 25: Infant Jesus Church, Modankap here observed Catechism Day on Sunday February 24.

The celebration began with Eucharist, the holy mass was celebrated by spiritual director of Fr Muller Hospital Fr Felix Monterio and co-celebrant was Fr Roque D’Sa. 

Fr Roque D’Sa presided over the cultural programmes. The chief guests on the occasion were Fr Felix Monterio, assistant parish priest Fr Arun Lobo, vice-president of the parish council Ruben Frank and secretary of parish council Richard D’Souza. 

Sunil Louis spoke on behalf of the teaching staff. Students who had scored highest marks were rewarded by the chief guest Fr Felix and the teaching staff were honoured by Fr Roque D’Sa. 

During the cultural programmes parables of Jesus were enacted by the students.

Teacher Anitha Lobo welcomed the gathering and Nirmala proposed the vote of thanks.
