Mangalore: Splendour of Tulunadu Culture in Mumbai in April

Mangalore, Feb 23: Mumbaikars are in for an interesting lesson in Tulu culture prevailing about 75 years ago with the 'Tulu Nadu in Mumbai,' an event to be organized at Mumbai's Kamgar Kreeda Bhavan stadium from April 11 to April 15.

Vijay Kumar Shetty, organizer speaking at a press conference here on Saturday February 23 informed that the five day event will present the then existing way of life from agriculture to culture meticulously.

The event will feature agricultural fields, warm hospitality of yore, traditional yakshagana, rarely seen agriculture tools and Tuluva folk dance, Shetty added.

Around 300 folklore artistes from Tulunadu and thousands of visitors from all over the globe are expected to be present.

VG Paul, Umesh Shetty and organisers were present at the press conference.
