M'lore: Lourdes Central School Bids Adieu to First Batch Pupils

Mangalore, Feb 23: The farewell function for the first batch of students of Lourdes Central School (LCS) was held recently with a solemn ceremony which was inaugurated by Fr J P Tauro, manager of LCS.

Speaking on the occasion, LCS principal Grace Noronha said, 'Strive for perfection, but don’t condemn yourself when you fall short. Devote yourself to finding the purpose of your lives and sincerely aspire to living it.'

Deepak Lobo and Dhanya S N recalled their days in LCS and thanked all the members of the staff.  Henry Mascarehnas, class teacher of class X and Violet D’Souza, English teacher advised them to embibe the values taught to them in their school days.

Fr Tauro in his speech wished the students to aim higher, to reach the highest goal and lead a dignified life. The students of class IX added a touch of emotion with a moving farewell song. A short game conducted by J Rai enlivened their spirits and made them nostalgic.
