M’lore: Muhurtham of ‘Yesu Swamy Helida Samatigalu’ held

Mangalore, Feb 19: The muhurtham of Kannada tele-film on ‘Yesu Swamy Helida Samatigalu’ (parables of Jesus) was held at Blessed Joseph Vaz Shrine, Mudipu on Saturday February 16.  The tele-film will be directed by Vinod Gangolli and produced by Blessed Joseph Vaz Centre, Gangolli.  

Fr Andrew D’Souza, parish priest of Blessed Joseph Vaz church officiated the muhurtham and blessed the occasion.  Fr Lancy Saldanha, assistant parish priest of Blessed Joseph Vaz parish, Michael D’Souza, former vice-president of parish council, Vinod Gangolli, producer and director of tele-film and the actors were present at the occasion.  The tele-film has been based on parables from the Bible.  The film will be shot in Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada and Udupi.

It could be noted here that ‘Parzalik Neketr’ Konkani tele-film based on the life of Blessed Joseph Vaz was directed by Vinod Gangolli was a grand success.
