PM mocks at SP-Cong tie-up, says Akhilesh clinging to any prop

Aligarh, Feb 5 (PTI): Mocking at opposition parties for joining hands fearing that BJP will get a majority in Rajya Sabha after the UP polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took a dig at the SP-Congress alliance saying the BJP "storm" has forced Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to desperately seek the help of anything, "even a pole", to retain power.

Addressing an election rally here, he also launched a scathing attack on the SP government for "doing nothing" for development in the state, as he used his signature style of coining acronyms to assert that BJP will bring "Vikas" -- 'Vidyut' (electricity), 'Kanoon' (law and order) and 'Sadak' (roads), if voted to power in Uttar Pradesh.

Maintaining that he had come to Aligarh in 2014 as the PM candidate, Modi said "not even half this ground was filled then. But today there is a 'kesariya sagar' (saffron sea) before me...

"And when the wind is so strong, even a young leader cannot face it and seeks help of anything ...even a pole...but this time BJP 'aandhi' (storm) is so strong that the Chief Minister fears that he might be blown off... The people of UP want change and justice."

Attacking the opposition, Modi said "we are working to save money by adopting strict measures. Will they not be angry with me and will not come together to defeat Modi? ...They feel that if they remain alone, Modi will get majority in the Rajya Sabha and make such rules that thieves, looters and the corrupt will not get any help. This is their fear."

"I am tightening the screws to teach those supporting black money a lesson," he said.
Attacking the SP government, Modi said "past governments in UP worked in such a manner that it led to the closure of famous Aligarh lock industry as they could not provide enough electricity."

He castigated the state government for "doing nothing for development" and accused it of neither checking corruption, casteism and nepotism, nor clearing the cane farmers' dues.

"But we are working day and night to ensure that every corner of India has electricity. We are making good progress. I am confident that electricity will reach every factory and household very soon," he said.

I don't think any other PM of our country has spent more time in State Assembly Election rallies and bhashans other than PM Modi.
It is a reflection of a near bankruptcy of leaders in the BJP and it is also because in the BJP it is only Modi and Amit Shah who run the entire show.

Modi and his boys promised Banarasi babus and bibis the moon. Modi vowed to transform Varanasi into another Kyoto – the Japanese model heritage city housing 2000 holy shrines and temples. He also spoke of redeveloping his spring-board "like London after World War II or Bhuj after the 2001 earthquake".

In an emotional address to the people of Varanasi, the PM had earlier declared:“Na mujhe kisi ne bheja hai, na main yahan aya hun, mujhe Ma Ganga ne bulaya hai…”.

After two years under Modi’s wing, neither Varanasi nor the Ganges seem to have seen much improvement. Varanasi is still dirty, messy and chaotic despite all the PM’s solemn pre-poll pledges and guarantees.Handlooms fall silent in Varanasi, $1 trillion hidden economy stalled. Modi’s cash ban has broken their backs.

A week after Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted e-boats to the boatmen of Varanasi, the boats are running on oars and muscle power instead of electricity. Free Wi-Fi in Modi's Varanasi suffers from power cuts, congestion and monkeys.

India has already seen photoshop of Gujarat Model and Delhi. Is BJP is going to provide 'spit bin' for Banarasi pan loving people is yet to be seen. Hope it won't turn to be another 'Jumla'.

But initial observation it is just 'Looking London, Talking Tokyo'

He did the same in Bihar & suffered too.
Why he is in alliance with PDP, ShivSena, Akalis?
He is claiming he made available LED bulbs for 50, the distributors have disappeared now here, whom to contact to replace them?
He had lied as to how many villages he supplied electricity, but truth is some never has electricity even today while majority had it for more than 25 to 50 years back!
He is saying the same things the same way without giving one example of fulfilling his electoral promise. Today he quoted how many accounts will get thousands of crores money, let him first deposit 100 rupees instead of fooling with Jumlas once again.

If this is Modi's mindset and thinking, I wonder how is he dealing with PMO employees?. Such a cheap, low graded attitude and lose talk from a person who is holding such a high, respectable and responsible position. Rather he should be a role model for decency, dignity and people should look up to him like a father figure. I am not surprised at all because it's BJP after all.

Akhilesh has no experience of running any government and or party. He was made CM of the state by his father who was Chief of Samajvaadi Party in the year 2012. It was just like Lallu made his wife Rabri Devi as CM of Bihar, some years back. Lets see who wins, Chaiwaala or Akilesh -comedian alliance.

He will get a majority only if he wins Uttar pradesh.
