Mangalore, Feb 17: As a mark of respect to the founding fathers of the Bank, Mangalore-based Karnataka Bank Limited celebrates its Founders’ Day every year. The Bank which took its birth on 18 Feb. 1924 is celebrating its Founders’ Day on Monday Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. at Bank’s Auditorium, 4th Floor, Head Office Building, Mahaveera Circle, Kankanady.

This year Founders’ Day Lecture will be delivered by Dr. Arjun K. Sengupta, Chairamn, National Commission for Enterprises in the Unorganised Sector, Govt. of India, New Delhi. He is also member of Rajya Sabha, Govt. of India.

A host of eminent personalities have delivered the Founders’ Day Lecture since 1998.

This will be followed by a flute recital by Shri Shashank, a noted flutist.

Shri Ananthakrishna, Chairman of the Bank will preside over the function.
