Mangalore, Feb 16: The foundation stone laying ceremony of Meredian College at Ombathukere near Ullal will be held on Sunday February 17, informed Dr Joby EC, principal of Meredian College while speaking at a press conference here on Friday February 15.
The occasion will be graced by Fr Denis D'Sa, administrator of Fr Muller Medical College. The foundation stone will be laid by M Veerappa Moily, chairman of union Administrative Reforms Commission. Prof M Kaveriappa, vice-chancellor of Mangalore University and Dr K Sundar Naik, registrar of Mangalore University will be the chief guests, he added.
U T Khader, former MLA of Ullal, P V Mohan, syndicate member, Fr Thomas D'Souza, priest of St Sebastian Church and Dinesh Rai, member of Ullal town municipal body will be the guests of honour, he added.
The staff of Meredian College was present at the press conference.
