Udupi: Intl Conference on Services Management at TAPMI

Udupi, Feb 14: A two-day international conference on services management will be organized by T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) here on Friday February 15.

According to a press release the conference will be held on the theme ‘Process and Technology: Key Drivers of Customer–focused Services Management.' Academicians from B-school in India and abroad will be participating and the papers on various topics will be presented.

Christopher lovelock a renowned authority on service management who has taught at Harvard Business school, Stanford, MIT, Berkley and Yale universities, will deliver the keynote address. He is also an author and consultant in the area of services management.

Process decisions and its role, technology decisions and its role and customer focus in services management will be the issues that will be discussed at the conference. Nearly 35 papers will be presented on topics such as customer relationship management (CRM), service quality, technology’s role in service delivery, service innovations and waiting line management.

Vice-president of I-Flex Solutions Ltd, Bangalore K Laxminarayan Shankar will be the chief guest, stated the release.
