Kundapur, Feb 13: Mohandas Shenoy and Nagaraja Kanchan were unanimously elected as president and vice-president respectively of Kundapur Town Municipality. Monday February 11.
Arun Prabha, tahsildar, presided over the ceremony as electoral officer and declared both BJP candidates as unanimously elected president and vice-president.
The newly constituted Kundapur Town Municipality has a total strength of 23 out of which 15 are BJP members, 4 Congress members, 2 communist members and one JPS and an independent member.
The chief officer Rayappa congratulated the elected town municipal councillors.
