Mangalore: Sarosh Institute holds Workshop on Hygiene

Mangalore, Feb 12:
A workshop on health and hygiene along with a free dental check-up was organized here on Monday February 11 by the NSS unit of Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration. The inaugural ceremony was conducted by the president of Rotary Club Midtown Murali, its secretary CMN Murthy and the NSS officer of the college Terence Rodrigues.
 
At the workshop many specialists and experts in the dental field put forth their views on oral and dental care. Avijith Roy of A J Institute of Medical Science discussed at length the various diseases such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis as also the various measures that could be undertaken to fight against these diseases. On the other hand Nitesh Bhandary of AJ Institute of Medical Science touched on the topic of First Aid and emergency care.  
 
The valedictory function was compered by Vincent Pais, director and member of the club. Moreover, the college will also in collaboration with Fr Muller Hospital be organizing a seminar cum district-level blood donation camp on February 16.
