Mangalore: BPCL Rally - DC Urges Public to Conserve Energy

Mangalore, Feb 1: The oil and gas fortnight which was being observed in the city from January 15 came to an end on Thursday January 31 with a rally organized by Bharat Petroleum and Corporation Limited.

The rally was flagged-off by district deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao. Speaking on the occasion he called for a united effort on the part of the citizens for the success of environmental campaigns.

He further informed that the per capita consumption of fuel is highest in India in comparison to other countries and appealed to the public to not waste fuel energy.

Students of Karnataka Polytechnic and BPCL employees took part in the rally.
