Bantwal, Feb 1: The annual feast of Mother of God parish, Mogarnad here was celebrated with fervour recently.
Fr Roque D’Sa, vicar general of Bantwal deanery celebrated the Eucharist along with Fr Cyril D’Souza, former parish priest and priests from various parishes.
Fr Robert Lasrado OFM, Cap, superior of St Fidelis Friary, Farangipet, in his homily said that Mary, Mother of God and all mankind always listens to the prayers of her children who are in distress, suffering and who are oppressed.
Fr Leo Lobo, parish priest, thanked everyone including the faithful who arrived in large numbers to attend the feast.
Fr Cyril D’Souza released ‘Mukut’ parish bulletin on the occasion. Santhosh Lobo, editor of the bulletin was also present.
