Udupi: Belapu GP Bags National Library Award

Udupi, Jan 23: Belapu Gram Panchayat (GP) library has bagged the National Library Award, instituted by Rajaram Mohan Roy Library Foundation, under the union government.

Thangam Thesarisam, union minister of education and libraries, presented this award to Deviprasad Shetty, president of Belapu GP, during the programme held at Chennai, recently.

Abhijit Sen Gupta, chairman of Rajaram Mohan Roy Foundation and union government chief secretary, KK Banerjee, director of Foundation, Ashok, librarian of Belapu GP library, were present on the occasion.
