Devajyothi Ray Assumes Charge as SP of Udupi District

Udupi, Jan 20: IPS officer Devajyothi Ray assumed charge as superintendent of police of Udupi district on Saturday. ASP Labhu Ram, who was serving as in-charge SP, handed over the charge to Ray.

Ray, a 1999-batch officer, served as ASP in Shimoga, Puttur before he was promoted as SP. He has worked in Kodagu and Charmarajnagar districts. He has also served in New Delhi Karnataka Bhavan as deputy resident commissioner.
