Karwar: Swiss Tourist Dies in Mobike-Truck Collision

Karwar, Jan 19: A Swiss tourist who was on a tour of the state was killed after being knocked down by a speeding ore-laden truck near Ankola on Thursday January 17 night. 

The deceased has been identified as Cohen Behani (54), originally from Belgium and national of Switzerland.  He was riding a mobike when a ore-laden truck speeding from opposite direction knocked him down. 

As a result Cohen sustained serious injuries.  Though the locals managed to rush him to a hospital, he succumbed to injuries a little later.  His friend Analisa who was riding the pillion too has sustained minor injuries in the accident.
