Mangalore, Jan 17: St Lawrence Higher Primary School, Bondel near here is on the threshold of centenary celebrations, Fr Antony Serrao, correspondent of school, informed media persons, at the press conference here on Thursday January 17.

The centenary celebrations will be held from Friday January 18 to Thursday January 24. Thanksgiving Day, sports day and parish day will be held on January 18, January 19 and January 20, respectively.  Old students’ day, annual day celebrations of English medium school and Kannada medium school will be held on Monday January 21, Tuesday January 22 and Wednesday January 23 respectively.  The concluding ceremony of centenary celebrations will be held on Thursday January 24 at 5.30 pm.  

It will be graced by Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza of Mangalore.  The centenary memorial building will be inaugurated by B Nagaraj Shetty, former district-in-charge minister.  B Ramanath Rai, former MLA will be inaugurating computer facility and Fr Wilson D’Souza, secretary, Catholic Board of Education  will release the centenary memorial souvenir, he added.
