Mangalore: Now Telephone Bills Payable through Karnataka Bank

Mangalore, Jan 14: City-based Karnataka Bank Limited has enhanced its range of utility services as a result of the agreement signed between Karnataka Bank Limited and Dakshina Kannada District Telecom District. A total of 54 branches of the Bank in South Canara and Udupi Districts will accept the payments of telephone bills issued by DK Telecom District.

The branches will accept the payment in cash/local cheque/DD only.

The pact between the Bank and telecom district will facilitate payment of telephone bills due on or before the Pay-by-date from all individuals, corporates etc. Bills of STD/ISD, PTS (Public Telephone Service booths, so notified) are outside the purview of the arrangement. All clearing instruments tendered/accepted by the branch shall be at least two working days in advance of “Pay-by-date” mentioned in the telephone bill.
