PM hints at more action to unearth black money

Kobe, Nov 12 (PTI): Hinting at more action to unearth black money, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said those holding unaccounted money will not be spared and there is no "guarantee" that no further steps would be taken after December 30 till when people can deposit the demonetised notes.

He assured honest people that they will not face any trouble."I would like to announce once again that after the end of this scheme, there is no guarantee that something new will not be introduced to punish you (thikane lagane ke liye)," Modi said.
He was addressing the Indian community at a reception here.

"I make it very clear that if anything unaccounted comes up, then I will check its records since Independence. Will deploy as many people as required for this. Honest people will not face any problem. No one will be spared. Those who know me, they are intelligent as well. They think it is better to offer it in Ganga than in banks," Modi said.

He was referring to reports of the demonetised Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes flowing in Ganga river.

Modi termed the demonetisation as "Swachhata Abhiyan" and hailed the undaunting spirit of people despite their hardship following its announcement on November 8.

"I salute my countrymen. People stood in line for four hours, six hours but accepted the decision in national interest the way people of Japan tackled the aftermath of the 2011 disaster," he said.

"I thought long and hard about the possible difficulties and it was also important to keep it a secret. It had to be done suddenly but I never thought I will receive blessings for this," he said.

Wait and see. In the next 6 months the same " black money " will come back in the form of new currency. India needs a parallel economy more because 70% of the people are agriculturists and 60% of the population are still uneducated.

You are very superficial, and you know that. A Child died because hospital refused to accept 500 and 1000? Why is the hospital handling huge black money that they cannot take any more 500 and 1000 notes? Which hospital are you talking about in Bannur and Puttur? Or, are you lying like you always do?

Modi never understood and realized number of tasks required to implement demonetization plan.

Modi should take ownership for the failures so that people understand and realize the difficulties in implementing such major tasks.

Come home Modi right away and stop making statements from Japan. This is not healthy and type of policy followed.

Take some time to understand people issues and sufferings.

Explain the challenges and issues with demonetarization plan to people of India in India.

World bank and UN noticed the possible failures and warned that close monitoring and help to common is needed in this situation.

Lots of hard work and testing to make sure new bills are properly used and managed.

There are many ways, steps should have taken to implement and to be prepared for such event. The NDA Government has failed to plan and implement the demonetization plan in a timely manner and minimize the impact on business and people.

There is no good way to answer fools when they say something stupid. If you answer them, then you, too, will look like a fool. If you don’t answer them, they will think they are smart.

A fool trying to say something wise is like a crippled person trying to walk.

Like a dog that returns to its vomit, a fool does the same foolish things again and again.

There are two fools in this world. One is the millionaire who thinks that by hoarding money he can somehow accumulate real power, and the other is the reformer who thinks that if only he can take the money from one class and give it to another, all the world's ills will be cured.

If Modi didn't anticipate the kind of chaos demonetization will bring to a common man, he is a fool who's not fit for governance.

If he knew, and didn't prepare for the ensuing chaos, he's equally unfit for governance.

Thankfully, more and more people have started realizing that the demonetization is just a new political stunt by Modi and will bring no real or lasting change.
