Mangalore: Devotees Throng Carmel Hills for Infant Jesus' Novena

Mangalore, Jan 8: The novena of Infant Jesus which is an immediate spiritual preparation for annual feast of Infant Jesus at Carmel Hill at Bikarnakatta has started from Tuesday January 1. Various preachers from Mangalore diocese and other dioceses are coming to Bikarnakatta here to preach during the nine-day novena of Infant Jesus.

A mass of devotees including non-Catholics have been attending the seven novena masses right from 6.15 am to 7.15 pm in Konkani, English and Kannada.

The Carmel Hill is wearing a festive look and the peace and tranquility draws people for a prayerful participation.
