Mangalore, Jan 7: The sixth annual 'Sugama Sangeeta Sammelana' of the state Sugama Sangeeta Parishat will be held at Nehru Maidan here on February 16-17, informed parishat president Y K Muddu Krishna while addressing press persons here on Sunday January 6.
In preparation for the event, the parishat will hold a two-day training session on Saturday January 19 and Sunday January 20 in the city, at Kasargod and Udupi for those interested in partcipating in the conference, Krishna said.
He further said that the president of the programme will be chosen on Thurday January 10.
About 100 singers are expected to take part in the conference. A souvenir to mark the occasion will be release during the inaugural ceremony, he said.
