There were some who knew me so well over the past two decades - like Shekhar Kapur. So the ice was already broken. But some of them were interacting with me for the first time, so I had to build up the comfort level,” discloses Kabir, whose guest on the first show is likely to be actor turned producer-director Aamir Khan.

Talking about grilling Aamir, he says, “It was mentally stimulating when I indulged in a free-wheeling conversation with Aamir. Despite his tight schedules he was in no rush and chatted for two-and-half hours chat with me for a 30-minute show!”

“The conversations are peppered with startling facts and well-researched info. It will also be interspersed with relevant movie-clips and flash-back footage. I realised grilling directors is quite thrilling and I am sure the home audiences will enjoy it too,' insists Kabir.

But now it makes me feel so proud, because being acclaimed Odissi danseuse Protima Bedi's daughter, she has proved that dancing is in her blood.”
