Himachal CM bats for pollution-free Diwali


Shimla, Oct 30 (IANS): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Sunday greeted the people on Diwali and urged them to celebrate the festival of lights in a pollution-free manner.

In a message, he said the festival would shower enlightenment on the people and would bring prosperity besides strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and unity.

Governor Acharya Devvrat said the festival would bring joy and happiness into the lives of the people.
