Mangalore, Jan 3: Karnataka State Open University’s (KSOU) eighth annual convocation will be held on Friday February 8, a press release informed.

The degrees of the candidates may be obtained either ‘in person’ or ‘in absentia’ by applying in the prescribed form, the release added.

Only those candidates, who have passed the post graduate degree examinations conducted by the university between November 2006 and August 2007, candidates who have passed the undergraduate degree examinations held by the university during November/ December 2006 and May /June 2007, the rank holders, winners of medals and cash prizes of bachelors as well as master degree examinations held between November 2006 and August 2007, will be admitted to the convocation.

The application form may be obtained directly from the office of the Registrar (evaluation), Karnataka State Open University, Manasagangothri, Mysore- 570006 during the office hours or may be obtained from any KSOU regional centre, study centre.

The applications duly filled-in should reach the registrar before January 15 or before January 20 with a fine of Rs 100, the release added.
