Two Jaish militants arrested in Kashmir


Srinagar, Oct 22 (IANS): Two Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) militants were arrested on Saturday in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, police said in a statement.

"The police has arrested two militants -- Safeer Ahmad Bhat, Farhaan Fayaz Liloo -- who were part of JeM terror module in Baramulla headed by a Pakistani terrorist," the statement said.

"This terror module was involved in an attack on a police convoy on August 16 that killed three personnel."

An AK series rifle, a pistol and other ammunition was recovered from the militants, the statement added.
