M'lore: Bi- Decennial Celebration of Srinivas Patashala to be Held

Mangalore, Dec 31: The bi-decennial celebration of Srinivas Patashala Association, located at Sri Vittobha Temple Road in the city, will be held from Wednesday, January 2 to Saturday, January 5, in the school auditorium, Prof DK Mohan Pai, honorary secretary, informed media persons here, at the pres conference on Monday, December 31.

Prof M Shantharam Shetty, dean of K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) would inaugurate the science exhibition. The prizes will be presented by Krishna Palemar, former MLA of Suratkal, who will be the guest of honour at the occasion.

N Yogish Bhat, former MLA of city, will be the chief guest at the programme.  The students of the institute would hold march-past in the same occasion. The news letter by the students studying in the English medium of the institute will be released on the occasion, he added.

Rajesh Gatti, president of Parent Teachers Association, G Vishwanath Bhat of the institute, Saraswathi Bhat, head teacher, Nalanda English Medium School and others were present at the press conference.
