New Delhi, Oct 17 (IANS): It was sunny Monday morning with clear sky here with the minimum temperature recorded at 19.0 degrees Celsius, the season's average.
"The sky will remain clear throughout the day. There is no cloud formation and no chance of rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius and the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 72 per cent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 35.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 22.6 degrees Celsius, a notch nelow the season's average.
